Manually Remove SharpTools SmartApp from SmartThings

If you need to disconnect a location from SharpTools, you can use the steps below:

Open your SharpTools.io User Page
Tap the `...` next to the location in question
Scroll down and tap the Disconnect button at the bottom

If the location has been removed from SmartThings or otherwise deauthorized from SharpTools, the 'Disconnect' feature will not work. In that case, reach out to support@sharptools.io and we can manually remove the location for you.

Legacy Connection

Note that the new SmartThings connection in SharpTools does not use a SmartApp. The legacy connection used a SmartApp, whereas the next-generation connection is available under 'Linked Services' within SmartThings.

The following instructions are for the legacy SmartThings Groovy connection and remain for historical reference. If you are using the next generation SmartThings connection which displays a five-spoke icon next to the location name in SharpTools, these instructions do not apply.

With the shutdown of SmartThing's Groovy platform, these instructions will likely become invalid as well. Instead, use the 'Disconnect' feature mentioned above or reach out to support@sharptools.io and we can assist in removing a location from your account.

Samsung SmartThings Mobile app

Slide out the left navigation and tap Automations
Scroll down and tap SharpTools
Tap the `...` in the top-right corner and select Delete

SmartThings IDE (web based)

Login to https://account.smartthings.com/
Tap My Locations
Tap SmartApps next your your location
Tap Edit (right side, just under the location pic)
Tap Uninstall next to SharpTools

SmartThings Classic Mobile app (deprecated)

Tap Automation in the bottom navigation
Select the SmartApps tab
Scroll down to SharpTools and select it
Scroll to the bottom and tap Remove
