How to Check and Update Your SharpTools Web App Version

When we release updates (like bug fixes or new features), your browser may need a quick refresh to load the latest version.

Quick Check (Most Important)

To confirm you’re on the latest version:

1. Refresh your browser while viewing SharpTools

2. Go to: User PageManage Account

3. Look at the version at the bottom of the page

The version will look something like 260228.0056 like in the following screenshot:

If a release note or team member mentions a version, ensure your version is that number or newer

How to Update to the Latest Version

In most cases, updating is simple:

  • Refresh the page (this reloads the latest version)
  • If things still don’t look right:
    • Refresh again
    • Or close all SharpTools tabs, then reopen and refresh

That’s it — no installs or downloads required.

What Does “Version” Mean?

SharpTools runs as a web app in your browser.

Each update has a version number in this format:

YYMMDD.HHMM (UTC)

Example:

  • 260228.0056  = Feb 28, 2026 at 00:56 UTC

This version refers to the web app (frontend) — the part you see and interact with in your browser.

When Should I Check This?

You might want to check your version when:

  • A feature isn’t showing up yet
  • Something looks incorrect after a recent update
  • Support asks you to confirm your version
